Olympic Fever!

At risk of upsetting the Olympic ring police my Olympic window is going down very well with the locals and all the Olympic visitors walking along Chalcot Road. We couldn't resist using our penguin kit as our Olympians and adding three gold medals and a sewn Olympic Stadium. Yesterday we had a hand sewing party and they all made the mini penguins with mini gold penguins! The opening ceremony has gone down brilliantly! and I think we can all say we are proud to be British! Good luck to everyone!

We are all going on a summer Holiday!

Need something fun to make this holiday? Well our doll kits are great for kids o make themselves or for Mum's to make for their little ones! I have been assured that hey are all hand washable because I have been told that once you make one of these character 's for your two year old they tend to take it with them everywhere!
For those who have been desperate for the VW - Van as a rather special cushion (with over twenty pieces in it and a mammoth cutting exercise before you even get to the sewing part! ) has finally arrived at the shop in pattern form and written instructions. This is an absolute must for any VW camper van enthusiast !

Spare bits of liberty print!

I am sure you are all textile hoarders and of course one of the best hoards is a stash of liberty prints! So in the sale season we have been out an about buying bargain tee-shirts and converting them into stylish designer tee-shirts with a bit of liberty print trimming, around the cuff, neck line and breast pocket. Everyone makes complimentary comments on them and they are very nice to wear. Here is Georgia my daughter wearing one of hers!
